Paralleling National trends, the Truckee Meadow's homeless population is growing. How can IREM help as a professional organization? We recognize this is a major challenge faced by not only our community as a whole, but also by those involved in commercial real estate. IREM has assembled a panel of area experts to address the facts and challenges surrounding homelessness and the support services available to this population. Our panel will introduce resources available to property managers so they can help individuals obtain assistance and how to compassionately, yet firmly, work with homeless people who are adversely impacting our client's investment properties.
